I've downloaded 3.1.1 version , after doing :
# ./Config (/usr/local/ircd as SPATH and /etc/ircd as DPATH)
# make
i did=20
#networks/makenet (it created the ircnetwork config file - aonet.pl)
as far as i see everything is well configured. When I try to start =
ircdeamon
i get this :

1 - there's no ircd running when i try to start this one
2 - My M-line i ircd.conf is : =
M:sauron:192.168.0.20:Pogaduszki:6667:256 (as you see i try to start =
ircd inside the lan)
3 - They Are CorrecT
4 - No , netstat says there is no such port opened.
$uname -a : Linux sauron 2.2.19 #22 Wed Jun 20 18:12:16 PDT 2001 i586 =
unknown (slackware 8.0)
gcc version : gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
there are no start-log files so I don't know what the heck is going on.
I'll be very thankfull if you could help me solve this problem.
