I have this idea and I will need to run an irc server (or at least some sor=
t of a chat server).

now my question is,=20

is there a way to run a simplistic version of this irc server. All I want a=
 user to do is to chat, no commands, nothing just type in words. so no /who=
 etc...

so is there a way to remove/disble all the extra irc commands?
