| Hi. My name is Juan Pedro Elizalde i from Argentina and i use the Unreal2.1.7 and the Unreal3.1 SilverHearth In both i found a "problem". It ocurrs when i do a /whois to a user that doesn't really logged on the network: I connect to a user using telnet: 'telnet localhost 6667' (The server port) [mit@hangar51 mit]$ telnet hangar51 6667 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to hangar51. Escape character is '^]'. :OverrideMP3.DynoDns.Net NOTICE AUTH :*** Looking up your hostname... :OverrideMP3.DynoDns.Net NOTICE AUTH :*** Checking ident... :OverrideMP3.DynoDns.Net NOTICE AUTH :*** Checking for open socks server... :OverrideMP3.DynoDns.Net NOTICE AUTH :*** No ident response; username prefixed with ~ :OverrideMP3.DynoDns.Net NOTICE AUTH :*** No socks server found (good!)... nick Juan - Here i put the nick of the user pong :OverrideMP3.DynoDns.Net NOTICE AUTH :*** Couldn't resolve your hostname; using your IP address instead :OverrideMP3.DynoDns.Net NOTICE Juan :*** If you are having problems connecting due to ping timeouts, please type /notice 78B307 nospoof now. PING :78B307 :78B307!no...@Ov... PRIVMSG Juan :`VERSION` send DDD Connection closed by foreign host. [mit@hangar51 mit]$ The server has crashed because in that moment, in another user loged in the server, i made /whois Juan (Juan is the nickname of the telnet fake-user). In the XChat Window: --- *** Notice -- Aieeee!!! Server terminating: Segmention fault (buf: WHOIS Juan) --- *** Notice -- Dumped core to core.1667 - please read Unreal.nfo on what to do! --- Disconnected (Remote host closed socket). Ok. Hope this can be fixed Thanks, and sorry for my english. Juan Pedro Elizalde ju...@in... irc.interlap.com.ar Network Admin Juanpi www.interlap.com.ar |
