[Unreal-support] Problems compiling on SunOS 5.5.1

Hi,
I wonder if you might be able to help me ?
I'm having trouble building Unreal3.0-Morrigan(fix) on a remote shell, whose OS is SunOS 5.5.1.

I run ./Config, and everything goes to plan... however, when i try to make, i get the following:

make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 22: Unexpected end of line seen
Current working directory /home/dwebb/usrc/src
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `build'
--

I've asked around, but like me, no one has any idea what's happened !

(btw, line 22 is the compiler ref : CC=/usr/local/bin/gcc)

gcc does exist (i.e. did which gcc, and reported that gcc *WAS* located in /usr/local/bin/gcc)

Any ideas?
