Hi,

I want to create some hostnames for servers linking to my network.  How can
I do this?  I see a lot of other small networks doing it.  I'm wondering if
I have to mail my provider to create them and then pay a fee for each
hostname they create and bind to another IP.  Can someone please advise
here?

I also know other networks can create their own hostnames within minutes.  I
presume this requires something special from the shell provider and not
anything you can install in your IRCD account.

Could anyone recommend a good shell provider that can do the above if my
current provider wont.

I really appreciate any advice you can give.
