Not exactly sure if this is a bug, but I keep getting this error.

Basically:

I compiled, and did make. I uploaded my edited version of ircd.conf, then started the ircd. It worked fine. Then I killed the IRCd and then uploaded my fevertech.network, then edited the unrealircd.conf. After I did that I keept getting:

networks/unrealircd.conf is invalid, visit http://unreal.tspre.org to learn how
to upgrade

I can't get this to work anymore, and I even downloaded the .gz file again and did configure make etc... still says the same thing.

Any ideas?

Make sure you have the correct version on top of your network file. Copy the version from the template.network file on top of your current network file.
    Should look something like ver^2.2
    That should fix it.

right ... it sounds as if you are using a config file from an older version, yes ? ... if you are, then it wont work. you have to rewrite the config files each time there is a new release ...
