Introduction

The objective of this project is to provide the "ParaView Development Installation" packages that Kitware hasn't released since ParaView 3.8.1.

In addition, this project also provides auxiliary builds of the vtkPOFFReader plug-in and PyQt4, which have been built for working directly with each ParaView build. This way it's possible to increase the software stack built around ParaView, at least for using them on Windows.

This code has been tested with success on Windows and Linux (3.98.0 and 4.1.0 not yet on Linux). For Mac OS X, you can check the section ParaView + prereqs (aka SuperBuild) at oberon.bu.edu.
