Unnoc version 1.0.10
Details:
New Features:
- Added a show_down_interfaces option that allows a device to be
configured to always show all interfaces. This is good for switches
which will always show all graphs, regardless of the current state of
the port.... read more
Unnoc 1.0.9 is a very big release: there is now an unnoc daemon available. This is the first release that will offer both a cron method and a daemon method. The daemon method will help keep the load down on installations that have more than 200 hosts. In the process of writing the daemon, much of the code was optimized, including using pipes for RRDtool, this increased the performance of Unnoc quite a bit. Much of the code was cleaned up, as well as repeat code removed and consolidated.
This release is long overdue. 1.0.7 has many bugfixes as well as new options and new devices supported, included VMware VI3/ESX, Barracuda SPAM Firewalls and 3 phase APC PDU's and UPS's
I've had zero time to do anything on unnoc lately, I have managed to switch from cvs to subversion, so we're now using subversion to manage the repository. Unnoc is in serious need of some attention, but I just haven't had the time lately. Will get to it as soon as I can.
I've released a critical update for unnoc 1.0.6.2. New features are on their way in 1.0.7 in about a month.
A bug was found in 1.0.6 that caused pages (shortened email alerts) to not get sent out. This was due to a global variable being overwritten by a local variable of the same name. This is fixed, a patch is available here http://unnoc.sourceforge.net/patches/page-fix-instructions.html
Unnoc 1.0.6 released today
Another huge release, config file completely changed, MRTG is completely gone and Unnoc is now completely integrated with RRDTool. Many bug fixes and new features.
Unnoc 1.0.5 Released 10/20/2005
Big changes for 1.0.5. MRTG is no longer required for servers, RRD replaced it with better graphs, faster performance.
Also added a zoom feature, and other cool features and bug fixes.
Unnoc 1.0.4 released
Added RRD graphing support. This means that unnoc will graph each process, load average and disk usage for each server.
Other changes are bugfixes as well
1.0.2 has been released.
Many, many fixes, optimizations, and additions to the new version.
CVS is all fixed and back to normal, and I've been working alot on the new version. Hopefully should be done soon, the new version should be faster (check-stats.pl in particular) and 1.0.2 will make an attempt to centralize everything to SQL... there will still be a few remnants, but they will be squashed shortly.
Hopefully I'll be able to release 1.0.2 next week
Well I screwed up the CVS repository. I attempted to delete a file permanantly and ended up locking myself out (stupid CVS). Too bad sourceforge doesn't host subversion.
Anyway, will be back online in a few days and I will release a much better, more improved version.

Well here it is, the very first release of Unnoc. I've been working on it for a long time and I've finally open sourced it and done a release. What it is: unnoc is a web / SNMP monitoring tool that's designed for NOC's and other dedicated monitor servers.
