Substantial progress has been made on the code for AI ships. They will now attack each other(under specific conditions) and they are able to call for help. The ship that receives the call can then decide whether to help or not.

I am now working on the AI Trading code. Ships will currently pick a suitable location. The will go to this location and buy some cargo. TO DO: Get ships to go to new location and sell cargo.

Initial news post for the Universe Simulator. Watch for more details soon and the first public release in the next couple of weeks.

11-9-01 Development is continuing on the Delphi and Free Pascal text versions of the simulator. I hope to make substantial progress this weekend.
