Welcome to Universe!

Introduction
------------
We are still pretty young in the development process.  Hopefully
you've come to help!

This README file contains a few notes that will hopefully help you get
Universe up and running.

You'll need to get a JDK 1.1 and the Swing extensions, or a 1.2 JDK. 
JDK's and Swing extensions are free from http://java.sun.com. 

Linux JDK's are available from http://www.blackdown.org. 
If you use a 1.1 JDK under Linux, then download and install the 
Solaris version of the Swing extensions from 
http://java.sun.com/products/jfc/download.html.


Building
--------

Final Comments
--------------
Make sure to read the Universe home page often.  I try to keep the
Programming page with class definitions as up to date as possible.  If
there is a particular class that you are having trouble with, please
ask for help.

If you have any success or problems with any part of building this
game, please feel free to ask for help.
