well, if you don't have a personal certificate installed in your 
browser's keystore, what is true for 99+% users then you won't be bugged 
by the browser (with exception of Safari AFAIR). So that's not that bad 
in general. But true we can think about changing the default, it used to 
be more needed in the past. Especially as TLS authN is passing away with 
FIDO2/WebAuthn.
