Yes, we know it (Kerberos, LDAP, ActiveDirectory, tons of different possibilities to configure Shibolleth IdP, ...). Currently the assumptions are only that we: - use an external component which talks WS-Trust to translate one identity token into certificate which we require (STS in EMI) - adding a support for it in the client - the rest (==code for various identity provider types) will be modular and - that we are starting from the easiest case: LDAP (or something similar) interfaced by EMI STS, what will allow to solve at least one use case.
