Using vmpsd, any time a change to a host is made, the
hosts port will shutdown for 3 seconds, forcing the
client to renew its ip address. However, when you have
a netreg db full of clients, and you delete all of
those clients from the web interface, then the
ungoliant daemon will restart each of those ports. If
4k ports are restarted simultaniously, this would
probably have undesired results (hammering your dhcp
server, excessive wait on your ungoliant daemon, etc....).
A better behavior would be to only restart ports if
there are less than 10 hosts changed.
