Hi, I realised this should be filed as a support request,
and not in "open discussions", so here goes:

Bluetooth doesn't work for me. I can HotSync with
BlueTooth, but when try to use uMMC, two Problems
happen:

1 - the server never shows the message "server running"
when mapped to the virtual COM port (I know it's the
good one, because it's the same I use to hotsync via
Bluetooth). It just stops after starting winamp and
scanning for files. And I didn't forget to make sure the
port is not mapped to the HotSync at the time.

2 - The Palm app doesn't seem to "really" try to connect.
For example, I see no led activity on the blue5 Adapter,
like e.g. when I'm looking for other Bluetooth devices. If I
use List -> Main Menu it says "Failed to open serial port",
and if I use Control -> Reload it opens the Reload dialog
with "Please wait" and the cancel button. In both cases,
nothing happens, no Bluetooth led activity.

I've tried every single speed that was possible on the
uMMC Client (using each time the same speed for client
and server). Any other details I should consider? Parity?
Data? Stop? Configuration under "Connections" on the
Palm? Anything?

BTW I use w2k, the bluetooth adapter all 1572 from allnet
with the Bluetooth Widcomm Software 1.2.2.15 and a
Palm Vx with OS 3.5.3

Thanks a lot and cheers

    Hello,

I've just downloaded the new uMMC. Nice to see it's still being
    developped :)

I'm afraid though, although it works like a charm on serial, I
still have the same issues on Bluetooth as before. I hope
Bluetooth support gets on the "to do soon" list ;)

    cheers

uMMC 2.0 has better error reporting when trying to connect.

Please submit the error code reproted by uMMC when connecting.

    Regards

    Hi,

first my sincere apologies on letting you down with beta-
testing. Now I can only slap my own face that it's still not
    working for me :)

It has gotten slightly better since version 1.1. Now when I use
    Bluetooth the server starts.

But I still can't connect. Bluetooth V1 and V2 give me the error
"Open failed: 0302". Bluetooth Auto stays on "Trying to
    connect...".

Hope this helps. I'll try to be a better/faster tester in the future.

    Thanks for your efforts
