Version 1.8.2 windows 7 , 32 bits spanish
I save new playlist in UTF-8 format , Default output encoding ->UTF-8,
but when I open Ultrastar Deluxe Party a lot of songs in the playist are not displayed, because they have spanish caracters in title..
I open the playlist file with word pad and I can see that all the caracters are good (spanish caracters) but the file are in ANSI code, I save the playlist file in UTF-8 format and then ultrastar deluxe works perfect, showing me all the songs in the playlist.
But when I open Ultrstar manager again , I open the playlist changed to UTF-8 and the caracters are not show correctly.
More or less I have the same problem if the default output encoding is CP1252, I save the playlist, Ultrastart Deluxe don't show the songs with spanish caracthers in a playlist, I change the encoding like UTF-8 with notepad and Ultrastar run without problems but in this case I can see in ultrastar manager the new playlist (save with notepad in UTF-8) perfect.
Sorry, but the bug with encoding CP1252 are the same, when I save the playlist file with notepad in UTF-8 encoding the playlist run good in Ultrastar deluxe but the spanish caracters are not good showed.
