I guess you didn't read the User Manual. Check it out, you have Solmization on in the Options, and that's the reason you see the notes.

Hi,
UltraStar shows notes (DO RE MI FA SOL LA SI) in stead of the actual lyrics of some songs. Don't know why because the text files look just fine.
