I have installed ultrastar-ng 2.1 on opensuse-10.3 from packman-repository.

The demo-song gets more and more out of sync: after 5-6 lines of text, it is completly out of sync (text one line too early).

Which song specifically? There at least three songs labeled "demo". Either you have incorrect MP3 file or you are seeing an actual problem with the parser, as the song format is undocumented and I had to guess quite many things while writing the parser.

It's the song "Jamelia Superstar". It was included in the RPM. Is this song "officialy" included and supported?

My copy of that song stays in sync, so you probably have incorrect MP3 with it. Tell the maker of that RPM to fix it, preferably replacing it with the songs in ultrastar-songs-1.tar.bz2 (those are free and are known to work).

Ok, I downloaded the 2 songs, and they work. So the packager is to blame. Only one little thing: the software interpreted the licence.txt as the meta-data, so I had to delete the licence.txt of the songs first.
