#3 External mic does not work in MacBook Pro

I am unable to use an external mic with a MacBook Pro (Intel) with Leopard. Using the Mac Os preferences I can disable the internal mic and enable the external one; but UltraStar is always using the internal one and there is no option to change it (at least I do not know how to do it). I have tried with the config.ini file and with the applicaton, but ... ... no way. Help please.

USB Singstar Adapter work with iMac Leopard. Set: Build In Mic = Off; Singstar Adapter Channel 1 and Channel 2
Do the Settings in US-->Tools-->Options-->Records
Not in the OS Preferences
