Enabling Support for foreign Languages
General
To enable displaying foreign languages you have to select start => Control Panel => Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options => Add other languages
Add Support
To add support for complex languages and left-to-right languages, you need to select 1..
To add support for most East Asian languages, you need to select 2..
Both options need files from the Windows installation CD !
Option 1. might need a special font to be installed in addition.
Option 2. installs additional fonts from the Windows CD, so you can use those languages immediately.
You may select both options just to make sure you do not have to go trough this once more.
Install Burmese (Padauk) Font
Burmese is a complex script language, which needs a special font installed. You must download the Padauk font and install it.
If you are still running Windows XP SP1 or RTM, you need to follow the instructions to update your Uniscribe.DLL.
Select Burmese (Padauk) Font
To have the Burmese script displayed, you need to select the Padauk font for the window text components.
You do this by selecting start => Control Panel => Appearance and Themes => Change the computer's theme => Appearance => Advanced.
You need to change the font for the following Window components:
Or you download and select the Burmese (Padauk) XP.Theme (attached above).
In addition, you need to select the Padauk font inside of the UltraDefrag GUI from the menu Settings => Graphical interface => Font to render the list of volumes correctly.
