Hello,

Is it possible to defrag $Bitmap on Win 2008 R2?
I try with the boot time scan but it doesn't work.

    Which version are you using?

It is not possible to process meta-files, if they are locked by the system.

    Thanks for reply. I use ultradefrag-4.4.0 .

v4.4.0 does not yet fully support processing of meta-files, but this is improved with v5.0.0

You can try v5.0.0 beta, since we only release, what has been thoroughly tested on our systems, to the public.
This is just called a beta, since the optimization is missing.

I try with 5 beta 2, boot time scan, but it is also locked.

Well, since there is not much information accessible to the public about defragmenting files it is hard to get the correct access rights it seems.

We will investigate further, since we want to support as much as possible.

File system meta file processing has been improved in release 5.0.0 to support this.

There are still situations where this file can't be processed.
