      1 Find out why you don't have libXmu.so on your system. I've never seen this before. Maybe you have an alternative X library version? If possible, get a normal, recent one.

      2 Hope that SDL does not need Xmu, and do the following:

      3 Edit configure.ac, and delete the -lXmu text, then run autoconf and ./configure. If autoconf doesn't work, then you can edit configure directly, and then re-run ./configure.

      4 make should now link ustunts3dedit without the -lXmu option. If there are more libraries that you don't have, then follow the same procedure again for those libraries. If you get other linking errors, then you've probably removed a library that should not be removed.

      question: on what kind of system do you compile?
