The answer of Google is the following:

To Google

That place is 0° latitude, 0° longitude. Sometimes jokingly called "null island". GE tends to go there when it's having a problem with coordinates.

That's usually caused by a locale or language environment variable that may be using ISO-8859.xxx instead of UTF-8.

You can try:

Edit (as root) /opt/google/earth/pro/googleearth And add:

export LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF-8

before the last line.

That usually fixes it.

I do not know how to edit as root, as I am a newcomer in the World of Linux.
So maybe it is sth you would update in order to help us.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello!
You can change that specific configuration file on your own. It is easy, just follow these steps:

    1. Press instantly Ctrl+Alt+T on your keyboard to open Terminal window. (Or open Terminal from Ultimate Mint Live start menu --> Administration --> Terminal)
    2. Now you should have to open Google Earth configuration file as root in order to change it.
Type this into terminal window (or paste this command without quote marks):
      "sudo gedit /opt/google/earth/pro/googleearth"
    3. hit ENTER and type your root password
If you are using Ultimate Mint Live 19 on it's default settings (if you heaven't changed default password yet) your root password should be "cinnamon19" (without quote marks)
    4. When the document opens in new window , you should be able to add that line
"export LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF-8" and save the settings on exit.
