When using bsp2wall. exe to create a .wal (or .hwal?) and error is shown.
I used pakexplr (http://www.quaketerminus.com/tools/pakexplr.zip) to extract castle4.bsp from pak1.pak and drag and dropped it onto bsp2wall.exe and no .wal or .hwal was extracted.
When I set it up to run from a simple .bat file I was given the following error:
C:\_hexen2MapExtraction>bsp2wal.exe "C:\_hexen2MapExtraction\castle4.bsp"

*** ERROR: ***

I haven't found any documenation on the proper usage for bsp2wal.exe but it is possible I missed something. Please direct me to a better location if possible.
