    I seen to have everything installed correctly, but the game crashes on a starting console when launched, than the only way to quit is by ending the process.

    Without any details, I can't help at all. Which operating system? Which hammer of thyrion version? OpenGL or the software renderer? Exactly which packages are you using from our download page? Exactly how do you run the game?

      Windows 7
      Hammer of thyrion 1.5.7
      OpenGL renderer and software. Both don't work
      Using only the main package: hexen2-1.5.7-win64.zip.
      I tried to run it from the main folder where it's installed, and from a shortcut, both in admin mode.

    For the record, do you have the pak0.pak and pak1.pak files under your
    data1 directory? If not, you must copy them from your hexen2 cdrom and
    then run h2patch so that they are 1.11 versions.

    What is the exact error you are having?

      yes i have the pak files, and it gives me no error, it just stops working, and to exit i have to kill the process

    Have never run into such a thing before.

    Note that you do not need admin mode at all. Please
    try without admin mode.

    Also, if you run the game from a console window (i.e.
    a 'command prompt' or whatever windows is calling it
    nowadays) what happens?

    It doesn't work either, i've just noticed that it says that the "CVAR" is disable...

    I am assuming that you tried running the game from the command console? Tell me exactly how you run the game, i.e. your exact command line.

    1. I don't think that it would change anything but, if you rename
      your "Hexen IIb" directory to "HexenIIb"" i.e., remove the spaces,
      does it help any?

    2. Run the game using -devlog command line switch, like:
      glh2 -devlog
      It will generate a debug_h2.log file. Post its contents.

    This glh2.exe is not our build: Yours run the mission pack
    by default, ours does not, and it reports a different build
    date than our hexen2-1.5.7-win64.zip. I don't know who built
    this with what modifications so I can not help with it. You
    should ask help from whoever provided you with it.
