So, this is the problem I've mentioned in that thread about what eventually has been identified as an SDL bug.

The old fix for a different bug causes Eidolon to stay in god mode while if 'notarget' is in effect.

I can't say, that I suddenly understand hexenc (or even just eidolon.hc) fully, but it seems that adding 'self.flags(-)FL_GODMODE;' at the start of 'eidolon_wait' fixes the problem and - looking at the code - AFAICT it shouldn't affect the previous fix.

    IMHO i don't think this is a bug.
    Using notarget will often impede games natural progression.
    We don't want to unnecessarily mess with the gamecode.

    Well, on the other hand, is there any reason it shouldn't work if it originally (and I don't mean just in Thyrion) did work ?
