Core developers are working on µGP as an integral part of their research activities. Thus, they are already paid by their own institutions, namely: Politecnico di Torino, Torino (Italy) and INRA - Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique, Thiverval-Grignon (France).

Volunteers did a terrific job on specific topics, but, being volunteers, they did not ask for a wage.

So, why not donating time instead of money? You can add some code (we would really, really, really like a nice graphical interface), contribute to the documentation, draw icons, or simply proof read the Wiki (correcting our typos and grammar blunders would be a great help).
