Yes, there is a lint, it appears to handle C++ style comments, and
not a lot more.

Yeah, but I have a site licence here - it would only be useful for
people wanting to develop the code on there properly.  I have been
having a quick play and it doesn't like the code at all.  Lots of
wonderful warnings, and errors.

Actually termcap isn't _that_ bad, I meant curses, which is pretty dire.
