#305 Exporting to programs other than the GIMP

Of late I have being post processing with applications other than the GIMP. I find I can not export directly to Fotoxx for instance although any image I right click on can be directly opened with it. Maybe the GIMP calling convention is not compatible with current desktops. I run KDE 4.10.5
