[UDT] common.cpp: Compiler/Assembler error on IA64, "invalid character", "suffix or operands invalid"

Hi,

when building udt3.0 on an IA64 (Dual Intel Xeon)-smp-system, I get the attached error. I also attached the .s output.

I use Suse 9.3 with all the latest patches.

Can you give me any hints on where to look for the fault?
