Thanks for your prompt reply.  I have read the PIDF documentation,
but that section isn't as clear to me as it is to you!  I just
see that the number of tables and operations is the same, but I
don't really understand how they're related.  Your note does
confirm my beliefs, though.

Incidentally, the docs are available via HTTP at

Much easier than using ftp.

Finally, this list is archived and available to the entire world.
Posting account names and passwords may not be wise.  I have sent
a note off to the appropriate root accounts, notifying them of
the security breach and asking them to change the password.
