Ok i just installed Ucontrol works great for me so far and very
happy with the piece of software ; My computer has multiple users
and some of them Keep leaving caps lock key on ; your software
seems so far to have adressed all my concerns about the problem
howerver it seemps caps lock is still available in loginwindow
which is the default state of the machine . Is there a way to have
ucontrol deactivate the capslock key systemwide ? Thank you very
much in advance.
Thanking you for your time and attention and waiting to read from
you soon ; Please see to post reply as soon as you may so it may
solve a lot of users to repeat such a seemingly silly question.

Related to this is that ucontrol seems to lose its function key bindings
when using fast user switching...

uControl settings are user-specific, this is viewed as a
feature, not a bug. Without this mutliuser machines could
not support different users properly (as opposed to a single
real user using multiple accounts).
If you're fast user switching between multiple accounts the
best thing to do is to use the uControl pref in each account
to mirror the settings you want on a per account basis.
Loginwindow settings always revert to the default for the
machine (i.e. all mappings off) because there is no user
pref available at that point (and hence no "correct"
setting). I suppose we could offer a pref for settings for
the loginwindow only, but that's a feature request.
Refiling as feature request.
