uElements Framework - UPDATE

The framework is just about finished. A 0.3 release will be made available with just about every feature we planned; if not fully implemented, on wednsday. Framework support includes the ability to load plugins via web, uninstall them, administration, full plugin API support, full abstraction layer support, beta CMS support. Any questions or comments may be directed to heero_yuy@users.sourceforge.net. Also; a substantial section of documentation is in the cvs repos under plugin_tools/docs. They will all be ported to the documentation manager soon.

uComp 2.0-Delta Released

It took long enough, but the last version of uComp Standalone is released. Version 2.0 Delta will be the final version of the standalone version, and efforts are currently underway to port it over to the uElements framework.

Version 2.0 adds support for comments, users in multiple groups, different templates on a category-by-category basis. Built-in moderation, archiving support. It boasts over 2400 lines of code, all fresh, a total rewrite of version 1.0. Enjoy!

uElements Framework

uElements framework is nearing completion! We have the basic framework code worked out perfectly; and will be working on enhancing automation of alot of the framework functions; along with abstracting things like database support. If you are interested in writting thrid party plugins, contanct me at heero_yuy@users.sourceforge.net and I will work on getting you the toolset. Currently there is one in the CVS tree, but it is not suggested that you look to web CVS if you examine it, because you may get an out of date version. CVS commits are occuring at the rate of around 2-4 / hour for me, I have all day today to work on the code, and intend to hehe. Still looking for developers as well, so if you like perl, and are interested in helping us, contact me.

uComp - Preliminary Feature Support

I have had numerous feature requests for comments system in uComp 2.0. So I have finally caved in, and agreed. It will be ran by a new handler module and another table. I have added preliminary tables and handler code while not actually supported as of yet in uComp in 2.0ALPHA9(soon to be released). For more information email me. Anyone running a current alpha should be prepared to fully wipe all databases. Thank you.
