#2 It'd be /nice/ if the game browser could:

No

Allow one to type in an (arbituary) image, resize and position that image on the screen with the mouse, and then get the appropriate values read off so that positioning of images are very easy.

We could edit the message loop to allow the IDE to interact with the GB directly.

do you mean it would be nice if the IDE could bring things up in the GB, and then have the GB put values back into the IDE?
that would be handy for things that need absolute positioning.

of course, we also want further interaction, such as executing a game locally (though assets would still be downloaded), with the execution initiated from the IDE, and then when the GB hits an error, it opens the relevant file in the IDE and highlights the position of the error, putting details into a pane in the IDE... (this is my first time on the computer today, and i won't be on long, so i won't be working on the autopackaging til later.
