Status Update

I am testing this program under Ubuntu 12.04 now.

I have fixed various bugs I came across, 2 of them were my fault, the rest were not but were fixed anyway.

Since each time TOR Browser Bundle is updated to the latest version it deletes the settings and bookmarks and stuff I have created a script that will install it but not have it linked to repositories where it would be automatically updated or have it updated by the program in the normal ways. To update it you just need to reinstall it, the latest stable version will be downloaded each time you do so.

I have not come across any issues where I am getting 404 errors. however, some repositories were not added using the function call in Ubuntu 12.04. As such, I moved repositories for anything that will not install into normal if statements with the standard command for adding them. This only fixed a couple of installations so I will set all plugins that failed to install to only install in future versions, look for a way to install everything else that failed to install and set things that are not supported and will not install to not be available in this version of Ubuntu.

Since the 32 bit architecture is not available in 64 bit versions of Ubuntu 12.04 I set it to not be listed as an option or be installed under Ubuntu 12.04.

Since Steam is not in Ubuntu 12.04's repositories it is installed in an alternative manner for version 12.04.

NVPY, the Simplenote client, sucked, so it was removed. I will try adding Evernote through WINE at a later date.

TO DO:
- Fix all possible installation issues in Ubuntu 12.04, set things that are not supported in 12.04 and do not have instructions for installation in 12.04 to not install in that version, test again.
- Test this project on all versions of Ubuntu from 12.10 to 14.10, sort out any remaining errors.
- Get back to working on the security portion, it is far from complete and I have some new ideas.
- Get security plugins to install in Firefox and do so without the ugly opening of a dozen tabs and requesting each one to install.
- Get back to exploring news sites and finding better software to include in this project.
- Replace Wallch with Variety
- Create a script to replace the wallpaper for the login screen as soon as it changes thereby getting around all changes that would cripple efforts to change it in future updates.
- Add the following Windows programs through WINE: ExtractNow (a multi archive extraction tool), ImgBurn (a DVD burner that performs with better compatibility than anything of that nature in Linux even through WINE), Evernote (An online note taking app)
