There's already a nice SIFR plugin out there (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-sifr/) but I'd LOVE to get TypeSelect as a plugin.
Some validation errors occur when I implement TypeSelect in WordPress for post titles in my excerpts that don't occur with SIFR and I haven't been able to come up with a workaround. For a more simple less-involed site it would be possible, but it's not currently possible with more involved sites. XHTML-validity is a must.
