Hi!

I've enjoyed using Twinkle for about a year. It's a very nice program, and I want to congratulate and thank Michael Duersch for this great freeware! :-)

Unfortunately, Twinkle resets my Palm T|X at random on launching or exiting. Using the Palm Simulator, I guess the problem is related with the high-res Japanese fonts.

If I install on the Simulator just twinkle.prc and a high-res Japanese font (any 2bpp or 4bpp), there's this message every time I exit Twinkle (even without doing any operation):

"Fatal Alert!
datamgr.c, Line:8679, Records left locked in closed unprotected DB"

This message doesn't appear neither if no Japanese font is installed, nor with the low-res Japanese font installed.

Update: I found out how to reproduce the reset! Launching and exiting Twinkle 14 times makes it reset my T|X on the 15th launch. If I do this on the emulator there's a new error message (when Twinkle is launched):

    "Fatal Alert!
    memorymgr.c, Line:2631, Chunk over-locked"
    File Added: Twinkle_error_on_PalmSimulator-2.gif

I don't know if this is the correct or best fix, but the attached patch solved my problem.
    File Added: drawFont.c.patch

Resolution set to 'fixed', will close when patch applied to CVS.
