I am not sure what activity causes the Palm database to become corrupted, but after editing, deleting, adding etc on the Palm, trying to sort causes the Palm to crash.

Twinkle Flashcards 1.0.1 and TwinkEdit 0.6.9

A workaround for this problem is to load the offending database into TwinkEdit, and save it back to a pdb. This appears to correct whatever defect has been introduced into the database, and sorts are again possible.

I will create a small test DB to further isolate this problem and report more detail sometime next week.

When a user navigates to the new item screen within Twinkle and then exits without adding an item, an empty record is created in the corresponding database file. This empty record does not increase the card count. Another such fraudulent record is created with every visit to the new page if data is not entered. Fix is to delete the record if no data has been entered. I believe this is the cause of database instability including crashes while sorting larger databases.
