I've just recently started getting into TWiki (hi, y'all). (If I'm
spouting off in the wrong place, please redirect me.) I've run into two
problems when getting the TWiki source from CVS. Has anyone else been
bitten by these? I'm concerned that I'm not getting (all) the right files.
When checking out the twiki module or updating an existing working copy, I
consistently receive the following message:
cvs server: nothing known about ttest/lib/TWiki/Store/Rcs.pm
But there is no Rcs.pm file. It's not even mentioned in any local files
(e.g., */CVS/Entries) except for one mention in lib/TWiki.cfg.
Otherwise, the checkout/update appears to work correctly. Is there some
artifact on the server that might be causing this?
When exporting the twiki module (so I can import it into my own local
cvsroot for managing local changes, releases, and packaging), I receive
the following diagnostic:
. (things are fine until...)
Terminated with fatal signal 11
This happens consistently, regardless of variations in cvs options, and in
the same location. The export command I am using is:
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/twiki \
export -kv -D now -d TWiki-HEAD-export twiki
This is my usual method of bringing in an external cvs module (followed by
a 'cvs import' into my cvsroot, merging changes, etc.).
I'm pretty sure the export is incomplete.
