[TWiki-Dev] New TWiki-6.1.0 Release Pre-Announcement & Vote on "L" Code Name

Dear TWiki-dev community:

Hideyo-san and I worked on the latest TWiki-6.1.0 production release over the weekend. All went well, and it is already available as the default download on TWiki.org and SourceForge. Still many topics need to be updated on TWiki.org. Thank you Hideyo-san for building the release package!

 I’ll do a formal announcement later this week, just wanted to give you a quick heads up.

It’s time to vote for the next code name. There are voices since there are many L-captitals around the globe such as Lima, Peru. Please vote now at http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Codev/CodeName#LReleaseVote so that we can start this week’s release meeting with the new code name already decided.
