Ok, this is weird, which is why I didn't put it under the bugs. Please keep this down until I can figure out what is going on. I have a 2.4ghz (non-wifi/non-IP) wireless camera. I installed tvtive and viewed the camera via the composite input... blah blah Point being, I got some weird txt on my screen like the camera actually picked up data out of the air and displayed it on the screen. At first I thought it was a CC bug but, it is all over the screen and it happens with CC turned off also. The text/code/gibberish is different colors sometimes. I am a tech but I am not sure what I was looking at in all honesty. I have screen captures but I get the impression they may contain data so until I know what that data is, I don't really want to post them. I may have decoded a network address and network broadcast address out of it however, along with what appear to be hex color codes possibly, but not of the color the txt is in on the screen, if.... I am only asking you all because I am wondering if it is something you have ever heard of before and because I figure you all would know better than anyone if your program could be glitching and displaying code. I have another weird happening, it is wifi related, but I am trying not to jump to conclusions as to if they are related. I have NEVER seen a wifi camera pick up data and display it as text. The camera has no ability to decipher it even, but then how is it there? It has no CC functions obviously. The PC is down right now this tuner is on so I can not set up and recreate this, and even when I was watching before, it is totally unpredictable when it would happen. It is not like ALL network traffic is showing up, if that is what it is. Just once every few weeks or something, some strange code pops up.... I live out of range of any other neighbors wifi signal. I live in the NC mountains in a tree field and even to the end of the driveway is out of range without a directional antenna. Thanks, Stephen |
