Has anyone managed to get the Linux-TV to work under LinuxMint (Xfce
32bit)? I am (almost) a Linux virgin and so I am struggling with 2 or 3 new
technologies all at once!

If LinuxMint doesn't work do I go for Ubuntu or Debian? (I originally chose
Mint because it looked like it provided a complete, ready built environment
that Windows users would be comfortable with).

I am looking for a run-time environment that is stable and dependable (and
preferably user friendly and pretty idiot proof). The program I have to
port has to run reliably from 22:00 through to 18:00 every day and I do
like my sleep!
