Re: [tuxracer-main] ./configure stops with error

I replied to Andreas via private mail in German.

My suggestion to him was to check out extreme tuxracer
(http://extremetuxracer.com), to my knowledge the only still alive fork of
open-source tuxracer (now that openracer is no longer alive, which I know
for sure ;), and PPRacer is also dead to my knowledge). They seem to have
SuSE RPMs and their source tarballs should compile fine on recent
distributions.

Problem is that original oss tuxracer, which is ages (!) old, does not
check for tcl8.4 in the configure script. Hacking configure.in (plus
invoking autoconf and the related stuff) should help, but it seems easier
to go for the more recent source base extreme tuxracer.
