Hi I wanted to know what exactly a small patch means? Do I have to make some small change in the current some source code? Or I have to add some functionality? Or I have to create a separate new file with some new functions in it which will be included in the current makefile and other source? Can anyone help me with this problem? IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER FOR ME IF ANYONE COULD MAIL ME SOME OLD PATCH SO THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I HAVE TO DO EXACTLY TO SUBMIT MY APPLICATION SUCCESSFULLY. |

Download the source code and make sure you can build it successfully. 2. Make some change to make the program do something of your choice (could be just printing "Hello World" to stdout). 3. Generate a diff (redirected into a file, of course). 4. Make sure your diff can be applied to the original code successfully. 5. Email your file to tux...@gm..., with a brief explanation in the body of the email. HTH, David Bruce |
