I¹ve just downloaded ³Tux Paint Version 0.9.21 (2009-06-29)² for my 3 year
old daughter. I am running it on Mac OS X Version 10.5.8. She uses a
similar program on the Leapser2.
One feature she uses quite a bit is the ³Fill² feature. It appears as it¹s
own tool in a number of programs.
Is there any chance that the ³Fill² bucket feature can be moves out of the
magic section and made to be it¹s own tool?
Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Petra, thanks for the note. Yes, it's definitely something we've been
thinking about. There are also really two kinds of Magic tools; effects
and things that paint, and we've been thinking of separating those from
each other, too.
In the end, Magic tools would be able to tell Tux Paint:
(1) I'm a drawing Magic tool, group me with other drawing ones
(2) I'm an effects Magic tool, ...
(3) I'd like to be a first-class citizen; put me in the main Tools menu
I don't have an ETA for when we'll get around to those changes, though,
as most of us have been very busy lately. :^(
