> I've seen numerous people mention that they heard about Tux Paint in
Hi, these people have written to you? Here, some people write me since
the release of the CD Free Desktop-Free-eos in Europe thanks to a lot of
associations and administrations. This CD started from Brest, near where
I work <http://www.a-brest.net/article1243.html>. My page
<http://mairie.wanadoo.fr/saintthonan/dessins.html> is linked in the CD
interface(I wonder why you haven't done it on the local contact page on
Tuxpaint site, and/or the link in drawing page. I've noticed that your
drawings are awesome, little Bill. You are enabled to return to primary
school ;-) ), so people sometimes thinks that I'm the author of Tuxpaint
*<:O) At least one school uses it now in Swisstzerland. I answer the
teacher to put something on Tuxpaint web, I didn't look if she has done it.
They ask more backgrounds and stamps, and how to install new ones.
Perhaps should we put an "how to get more" button in the "open" window,
displaying URI of the documentation and where to find it on the local
computer("Go in Start Menu/Tuxpaint/etc.").
> "Micro Hebdo" magazine [*] in France. Anyone got a copy? :^)
No, sorry, I don't buy magazines making a big lot advertisement for
micro$oft. And it's designed for rookies. That's why I'm surprised that
theses readers have written to you!
> [*] http://www.01net.com/microhebdo/ (I think!)
Yes, exactly. This editor, 01, sucks for me(and for a lot of free-world
computerists), because for them micro$oft's the best, and being a
computer scientist consists in launching window$ update, looking bourse
cotations during the download, buying expensive softwares, install them,
take a cup of coffee, click on some checkboxes and job is done! Anything
that works in a different way(such as GNU softs) must change, and so,
they will be good for use. And there is often mistakes in things they write.
I should stop talking and go installing Freeduc 1.5 on the computer wich
is waiting near me.
