Another thought is to take advantage of the IM system in Tux Paint, and allow text entry to switch from LtoR to RtoL and back by tapping the [Alt] key...? (But then, that'll only happen when you're running Tux Paint under a Hebrew locale.) I heard back from the school, and they said that other apps (Notepad++ and OpenOffice.org -- this was on Windows) behaved properly when they switched the Windows IM to Hebrew. I'm not sure SDL can detect that, but I'll ask the developers. If so, we could just take advantage of that... -bill! |
