Hi, thanks for the feedback,
Currently the palette is one button height and the width of the color buttons is proportional to the space available on the screen and number of colors.
If the color buttons are too narrow on your screen but the width and height of a regular button would be enough for the color buttons, then I suggest to use a palette with fewer colors:
Search for colorfile in
http://www.tuxpaint.org/docs/en/html/OPTIONS.html
this option is also in tuxpaint-config under sound/video -> color palette
Note that the link to the default palette is currently
http://www.tuxpaint.org/docs/default_colors.txt
you just have to download it, remove some of the colors and point Tux Paint to use that palette.

If instead the regular buttons are also too small, then I supose that we have to make all buttons in Tux Paint resizable, not just the pallette ones.

Hi again, re-reading your message seems I missunderstood you,
I was talking about the buttons palette and maybe you are talking about the color picker palette
like the attached one?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

First of all, thank you for telling me how to reduce the number of colors in the palette. I made a new palette from the link you gave me. I will attach an image.

The width of each pallet has expanded and it has become easier for my son to select a color by operating the line-of-sight input device.
I will add another image.

This is a composite image of the pallet area. If the palette is such a size, I think my son can choose the color without stress.
To be able to do this, the program would have to be modified to allow resizing of all Tuxpaint buttons. I hope it will happen in the future.

Hi, Tux Paint 0.9.26 is going to let edit the size of the buttons, and also there is support for more colors rows, see
