Program suddenly ceased to start. No error message.
Reinstalled program but it didn't help. Tried both
Windowed and Fullscreen. Have also reinstalled the
extra stamps, v10.03.
OS: Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, SP1
Check the folder containing TuxPaint.exe for files
named "stdout.txt" and/or "stderr.txt" and attach them
here.
If there are none, please try running "TuxPaint.exe"
from a shell such as the Windows command shell
(Start->Run->'cmd.exe'), MSDOS shell
(Start->Run->'command.com') or BASH shell in
Cygwin. Post the output, if any, that is displayed
when you run Tux Paint via the shell.
Sorry for the trouble, thanks!

Hi,
(sorry about the late resonse, have been on vacation)
I had to reinstall the OS for other reasons and now the
program is working. But just before I did that I tried to start
Tuxpaint from the command shell, and then took a quick look
in stdout.txt and saw something like "You are already
running a copy of Tuxpaint!".
Best regards, Hai

I'm glad it's working now. The "you are already
running a copy" is due to a new feature which checks
for a 'lockfile' in Tux Paint, preventing you from
launching multiple copies at once. (Sometimes kids
are impatient and keep clicking over and over again.)
It should NOT prevent you from re-launching within
30 seconds, though! Anyway, I'll mark this resolved.
Thanks.
