Hi, TuxMath-2.0.0 is now officially released on both Alioth and SourceForge, as source code and a win32 binary. For the first time, all files are accompanied by GPG signature files as well as md5 and sha1 hashes. I go on vacation for a week starting Tuesday, but after that I plan to try to get the MacPorts build updated, hopefully with generation of a dmg this time. We also need to get the OpenSUSE build service packages updated, for the RPM users out there. For any issues that crop up soon, we can make a 2.0.1 release in a few weeks. After that, TuxType needs some attention! David Bruce |

Hi, Here is zh_TW.po for 2.0.0. Hope it can be in 2.0.1 release. Sadly I'm suffering from RSI atm (it already got better, but...), so I've been lowering my free software activities a bit. If you want to help with packaging the new releases of t4k_common and/or tuxmath, please contact me (best here on the list). cheers, Holger |

To bad I'm still having problems compiling the common lib for Tux4kids, I'll try to take a look at it again tomorrow and keep you informed on the problems at the moment for Haiku, would be nice to see a new version available again. Hi Holger, > Sadly I'm suffering from RSI atm (it already got better, but...), Oh no, sorry to hear that! > If you want to help with packaging > the new releases of t4k_common and/or tuxmath, please contact me (best here on > the list). Maybe after my vacation I'll work on it. It will go together with updating the MacPorts and OpenSUSE build service builds, I guess. Hope your RSI recovers quickly. Best, David |

Hi, Congratulations for the release! I wanted to add stuff before 2.X, but nevermind - can that go into 2.0.1? Additionally, the Sourceforge.net hyperlink in the latest news, on the http://tux4kids.alioth.debian.org/ page is faulty, it needs to be corrected. Presently it points to % 22sourceforge.net/projects/tuxmath"/. Hi, 1. Fixed the two typos (in tuxmath.php and the sf link in index.php) 2. I'm all for the bug tracker, if someone wants to work on getting it going. On Mon, Apr 18, 2011 at 4:58 PM, Aviral Dasgupta <avi...@gm...> wrote: > Can we pleeeease move to github? > Regards, > Aviral For everything? Or just public website, or download site, or git repos (and of course the bug tracker)? I'm not eager to move everything without some pretty compelling reasons. We certainly can make better use of the features offered by Alioth than we have done so far. Regards, David |

Also - We still have functioning Sourceforge accounts for tuxmath and tuxtype, and SF.net has been pretty seriously upgraded recently. If we decide that Alioth doesn't meet our needs (and I'm not convinced of that as of yet), maybe we should just use SF rather than adding a third hosting site into the mix. Best, David |

You probably are getting them from some place other than the official Ubuntu repos in your /etc/apt/sources.list. It's not an "upstream" issue. David |

Hi, The new release won't show up in Ubuntu until we get it packaged and added to Debian Sid, then it should appear in the Ubuntu release after that.
