Hi, I've started looking into preparing new uploads of tuxtype and tuxmath to Debian and noticed there are no tags set in the git repository. So I wonder which the latest releases are. (My mail archive didnt help much.) According to the website, it's 0.1.1 for tux4kids-common, 2.0.1 for tuxmath and 1.8.1 for tuxtyping. (Those versions are listed in the source download options of tuxmath+type.) Is that correct? Do you happen to know the git commit ids so that we can set tags? cheers, Holger |

The release section has tuxmath 2.0.3 :) Still looking for the exact release sha1s though. cheers, Holger |

The last tuxmath source release is what's on alioth: https://alioth.debian.org/frs/?group_id=31080&release_id=1681#tuxmath---source-tuxmath---source---2.0.3-title-content I may not have updated the links in the webpage, but the latest sources are on the actual "files" page for tux4kids. It has the gpg hashes to verify package integrity and that it was signed by me, but that's a separate issue from the git sha to pin down the exact commit corresponding to this release. Tuxtype and t4k_common are at 1.8.1 and 0.1.1 respectively, as you wrote. There have been enough enhancements from google code-in to make it worthwhile for me to put out another release of tuxmath when the program wraps up in a couple of weeks. I noticed in issue in t4k_common: there doesnt seem to be a note about the copyright of the images (sigh, I know...), even though I assume they are copyright by you, a they are the same as in tuxmath where git blame doc/README_DATA_LICENCES tells me 7839162e doc/README_DATA_LICENSES.TXT (David Bruce <davidstuartbruce @nospam@ 2009-02-15 17:00:03 +0000 48) data/imates/status/*: 7839162e doc/README_DATA_LICENSES.TXT (David Bruce <davidstuartbruce @nospam@ 2009-02-15 17:00:03 +0000 49) right.png, right_gray.png, left.png, left_gray.png, stop.png modified from 7839162e doc/README_DATA_LICENSES.TXT (David Bruce <davidstuartbruce @nospam@ 2009-02-15 17:00:03 +0000 50) GPL-licensed KDE icons by David Bruce using the GIMP. All other images created 7839162e doc/README_DATA_LICENSES.TXT (David Bruce <davidstuartbruce @nospam@ 2009-02-15 17:00:03 +0000 51) by Sam Hart or Bill Kendrick. So I probably only need to write this up nicely for debian/copyright and I can upload. Am I right about the images in t4k_common? > There have been enough enhancements from google code-in to make it > worthwhile for me to put out another release of tuxmath when the > program wraps up in a couple of weeks. great! cheers, Holger |

Yes, they are the same images. The copyright notice got overlooked when they were moved into t4k_common. btw - does my gpg key show up as "trusted" for the purposes of Debian packages? It's only signed by a single Debian developer. It doesn't appear there are any Debian developers close to my home. -- David Bruce For all your software needs, visit The Apt Store: deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian stable main |

Is http://wiki.debian.org/Keysigning/Offers any help for you? cheers, Holger |
